Fri, Jan. 6th, 2006, 03:31 pm BEARS!
I just wanted to say that I have a new bank, and their mascot is a BEAR! And there are THREE BEARS on my debit card! I knew moving was a good idea.

For those of you who may notice or care, the ER was fun. I have bronchitis, and tomorrow I am going in to get checked for an ulcer. I do not have blood clots. They thought I did. I will live.
Once upon a time, when you went to Kevin's office and the door was closed, it was because he was reading.
Every single time I have gone there, do you know what he's been doing?
Nothing.
You in there, behind closed doors, what makes you think you're alone? (Stolen.)
You know what I think he's doing?
Counting the hours
until
his
retirement.
TAKE A FUCKING VACATION KEVIN YOU ARE NOT HELPING ANYMORE. Mon, Oct. 11th, 2004, 10:50 am

"I had to not think about what it was at first, but then I realized it's basically a medieval Scottish hot dog."
Mike. I love you more than you will ever know. Wed, Jul. 7th, 2004, 08:48 pm
Well, Mike ruined the surprise, but no, we did not die in a fiery crash. It was actually really fun, and much wacky hilarity was involved. Wisconsin rules. I think I want to move there, if only for the cheese whips. Mmm.... cheese whips... It was a great time, and I know Mr. Mike will be very happy there. This makes me happy, because since Mike is not Adam, I don't like it when he's miserable. Tiger saddle. and http://www.horizontalorange.com/
Vive Illinois!
If I should happen to die in a fiery crash, I thought all of you were pretty neat.
Except you in the corner there. Yes you. I always hated you. Tue, Jun. 22nd, 2004, 03:10 pm
ooOOOooo... New addition to my hate list! Could it be you? I don't know! Mon, Jun. 21st, 2004, 01:05 am Oh and also...
My crazy Oklahoman ex-step-quasi-half-pseudo-relatives are coming to visit at the end of August. WOOOOOO HOOOOOO. Redneck drinking party! I'm so happy. I'm sorry my aunt had to die before we could all be in the same place and finally meet each other, but I'm overjoyed that I really do get to see them, and my baby cousin again.
I owe them some hospitality.
And by "hospitality," I do mean booze. Mon, Jun. 21st, 2004, 12:54 am Hmm...
For some reason, the little girl who lives next door felt compelled to get my dad a Father's Day card and gift.
I did not. Tue, May. 25th, 2004, 12:54 pm
I like candy.
Bleyah.
Six icky shots and four hours later.... I'm sick as a dog.
Good thing I'm the honor marshall for Arts and Sciences tomorrow morning at graduation!
Representin'. Sick and tired... Now if I can manage to show up late, too, I'm golden.
I really, really love my dog. I'm smoking, so I let her out, and it's snowed so of course there's snow everywhere. Even though it's 9:30, so she's obviously been outside, she walks around on the snow, and pauses every three or four steps and looks at me. If a dog can have a "What the fuck?" look, she's giving it to me. So she just walks around on the snow, constantly confused, as if she's never seen it before.
God bless her. Sun, Apr. 25th, 2004, 02:11 am Well..
Since everyone else is doing it, I guess I can too.
Before the show tonight, I was inspired by a Rilo Kiley song...at least the last two or three seconds of it, which ended with the lyric "zeros and ones" (the song is Science vs. Romance, I believe, for those keeping score at home).
Anyway, this kind of got me thinking about binary systems and how cool it is that on these wacky new-fangled computers, different combinations of "nothingness" and somethingness" can create so many different things on a computer--programs, text, pr0n...
So I of course developed a crackpot theory that I in no way believe in but will defend to the death, because that's how I am.
Basically, that's what emotions are--different combinations of varying amounts of nothingness (love) and somethingness (hate). Or strike that and reverse it, depends on how you want to think about it, I suppose. Anyway, take those two components and you can build a whole range of feelings, a little bit of hate and a whole lotta love to make jealousy. Or a whole lot of hate and a little love to create bitter.
I need to buy a blender. |
